Gender on Essays and Papers - Focus on Topic of the Essay, Not Gender

Gender on Essays and Papers - Focus on Topic of the Essay, Not GenderWhile some of the recent reporting has focused on the lack of gender balance among American Presidential Candidates, another issue is becoming apparent, the topic of gender on essays and papers. Why is this so important? And why is it becoming a focal point in politics?Essays and papers, by their very nature, are written by humans. And humans write their own thinking and reasoning for different reasons. Many of us read, borrow, copy, review, reference, or re-read an essay to learn something. That's because, ultimately, we're interested in learning how other people think and the results of that thought process. How can we improve on these essays and papers, when they have to become more gender sensitive? Gender on essays and papers become a particular issue because, although humans write essays and papers for different reasons, the writing and content often have common elements; there are grammar and spelling errors, or sentence structures that are incomplete, there is incorrect writing or spelling, and you will also see mistakes on diagrams and photographs. When it comes to gender on essays and papers, the content of these essays will be biased based on the audience. For example, if the audience of a writer is only made up of one gender, the essay is going to be fairly biased toward the female viewpoint on the content. As a writer, this means that you, as a writer, must be more aware of the topic and theme that you choose to tackle on essay topics on the development of the middle class in America. While it may seem like a rather simple idea, sometimes writers feel like they cannot write about certain topics because they are not able to write the information in an unbiased way. It's important to keep in mind that what you write is to a certain degree subjective and some of the information is subject to interpretation.Of course, as a reader, you're always expected to pay attention to the ideas and message of the writer, but not to his or her subjective decisions and choices in writing. Sometimes, you can glean a lot more from the writing than you may realize. But if the content is from one gender, there is no doubt that your focus will be on the viewpoint of the female writer and that you will learn more from that, than you will from the male perspective.Another common theme with many of the essays that I have read on gender on essays and papers is a student taking responsibility for the choices and decisions that they make in life. This is a common theme in all different types of essays and studies, including science, history, and government. A writer can actually use this common theme to their advantage when writing about gender on essays and papers. The goal for each student chooses to take the path of a more educated, intelligent, and well-rounded individual. While a woman or a man chooses to take that path, it doesn't necessarily mean that they cannot be academically educ ated or thoughtful, or honest, or meaningful. No matter what type of student chooses to take the road of an educated person, whether they're male or female, we all must try to remember the thoughts and experiences of our previous generations when trying to learn more about the subject on gender on essays and papers.
